DA through the membrane is 0.6 cm2/min, the membrane thickness is 0.1 cm, and the membrane area is 10cm.
a) Write steady state balance equations for the concentration of A in volumes V1 and V2 (write 2 equations in terms of variables in the figure; no need to plug in numbers for this part).
b) What are the exiting concentrations of A in the raffinate and permeate streams (cA1 and cA2)?
