It is passed through a combustion chamber at 90 °F under a constant pressure of 35 in of Hg. It is burned in 40% excess air(dry) which is at 70°F & 29.4 inch Hg. After combustion it is found that 10% of the original CO remains. Calculate (a) the cubic feet of air supplied per cubic feet of entering gas. (b) cubic feet of product produced per cubic feet of inlet gas. Assume that the exit gas is at 29.4 inch Hg and 400°F (Assume the gas is ideal).
