By using a data set from Green & Salkind - Lesson 28, File 2 (www.pearsonhighered.com/greensalkindSPSS). The description of the data set is on page 231 of that text.
Calculate the following for each of the three subscales for the entire sample and calculate for each of the three groups:
• Mean
• Median
• Mode
• Range
• Minimum
• Maximum
• Standard deviation
Generate output files in SPSS. You can export your output directly into a Word document (we'll learn how in our ClassLive session).
Create a bar graph showing the distribution of scores for each of the three variables
Based on your SPSS analysis, craft a 2- page report of the results using correct APA format. Your report should include:
SPSS syntax and output files
3 bar charts (one for each of the three subscales)
Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersion with SPSS (Rubric)
