Summary
The question is about the illicit drug trafficking and the compliance adopted by the United Nations Convention against it in 1988. The convention is about the ban of illicit drug trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Though Saudi Arabia has a strict rule which penalizes individual with capital punishment for drug trafficking in Saudi, there are less number of executions per year and also the number of traffickers are also less in Saudi. But neighboring countries such as Syria, Jordan, Turkey, etc have been known to be trafficking drugs based out of Central Europe.
