RFID (Radio frequency identification) technology is extensively used in the credit card industry to empower the modern smarter credit cards. The technology has been implemented by the Visa cards to launch Visa pay cards that are RFID based and offer speed and convenience to the customers as they can be easily read by the RFID card readers and do not need to be swiped like the traditional chip and pin cards.
