Question
Water is used to absorb NH3 (mole fraction 0.1) from air at 1 atm in a counter current operation. The gas mixture at 313 K is fed to the bottom of the column at a flow rate of 0.556 m3/s and a velocity of 1.2 m/s. Water is introduced to the column from the top. Due to the enthalpy of dissolution, the temperature of the ammonium water is higher at the bottom of the column. The temperature and composition distribution in the liquid phase from top to bottom of the column, with corresponding gas phase equilibrium compositions are described by Table 1.

1. If the recovery of NH3 is 95%, assuming air is totally inert, please determine the theoretical minimum liquid flow rate Lmin, (kg/s)
2. If the real liquid flow rate is 1.1 times of the theoretical minimum, and if the KGa is known to be 0.0556 kmol/(m3.s), please determine the diameter of the column, (m).
3. Please determine the height of the packings (m), based on the above information
Summary
This question belongs to thermal engineering and discusses about mass transfer and absorptions.

I was really unsure about using the forms and classes in visual basic programming language when I came across HwA. The visual basic assignment expert here has deep insight and knowledge and I think as they are professional involved in visual basic programming, they tend to solve the assignments much more accurately and that too in no time.
There was a research based assignment on the clinical services available for the aboriginals of New Zealand and for that I needed some expert who knows the nursing industry of New Zealand more than anything else. Luckily here I got hold of one lovely professor who helped me that assignment and many other assignments in the due time.
Before approaching TheReliableTutor.com, zoology was one of the most difficult things in my life. But after taking sessions from TheReliableTutor.com, zoology has become more fun and more interesting to learn. Thank you guys..!!!
I am pursuing my masters in finance management from one of the leading buisness schools in London. Even though I have a clear idea of most of the concepts of finance from my undergraduate days, I was still looking for some guidance and help with my finance homework. I had benefitted greatly during my undergraduate days from the online finance tutor at TheReliableTutor so I decided to contact them again and since then have not looked back. I have been getting finance assignment help and they have helped me a lot
I would like to thank TheReliableTutor.com and its team for the wonderful service. You guys have produced what I exactly asked for and were so efficient with deadlines. I would definitely recommend this service.

This solution is perfect ...thanks
Hello Allison,I love the 2nd image that you did! I also, had never heard of SumoPaint, is something that I will have to exolpre a bit! I understand completely the 52 (or so) youtube videos that you probably watched. Sometimes they have what you want, sometimes they don't! However, it is always satisfying when you are able to produce something that you have taught yourself. Great job!Debra 0 likes
