Critical Analysis of a Region from Business Perspective
Question
Write a report of critical analysis and discussion from a business perspective of a company wanting to establish a business presence within a region. Broader global issues should be considered in the analysis, such as:
a) Describe the geo-demographic, economic, cultural, political and legal factors which impact on global business
b) Outline the political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental business (PESTLE) strategies used globally
c) Identify regional groupings where these strategies of undertaking business differ
d) Undertake academic research, critically analyse and write and present a report.
Summary
The question belongs to Corporate Strategy and it is a report of critical regional analysis from a business perspective of a company which wants to establish a business presence in the region. The region chosen hear is ASEAN. ASEAN or the Association of South East Asian Nations was formed in 1967. This association was formed for free trade, commercial regional cooperation, non-interference in internal affairs, settling differences and disputes peacefully, etc. The report explores the feasibility of establishing an international business in the region.
