Walmart’s Goal:
On Thursday, February 25. 2010, Walmart announced in a webcast from its Arkansas headquarters, that it would cut 20 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions from its supply chain by the end of 2015. The cut is equivalent to taking more than 3.8 million cars from the road for a year (Walrnart stores).
