Question
Let the random variable X denote the number of customers arriving in a certain store per hour, which is modelled as a Poisson process with the rate λ= 4 such that X~ Poiss(4). Now, please compute the probability that k customers visit the store in a day where k = 0; 1; 2,3,…. 200. That is, you have to compute P( =k), k= 0,1,2,3,….200. Where denotes the number of customers arriving a certain store in a day. Please note that X is not the same as . Then, you have to plot a 2D figure where x-axis denotes the number of customers, k = 0; 1; 2,3,…..200, and y-axis denotes the computed probabilities. You have to submit both of your MATLAB codes (a script with .m extension) and the plotted figure (a eps image with .eps extension).
Summary
This question belongs to MATLAB software and discusses about application of MATLAB to probability and statistics and to compute the probability of a random variable.

Our professors were piling up one assignment after the other and the pressure was too much to bear. I was thinking of how to tackle the situation when one of my friends suggested this website. I sceptical at the beginning and thought they will flunk me in the assignment. Honestly I was too scared but had no choice as I was dealing with like 10 assignments in a week. However, to my pleasant surprise I got brilliant feedback from my professor. He also had posed a certain query and that too was answered by the electronics engineering assignment expert from HwA.
The PowerPoint presentation with speaker notes prepared for my world cuisines assignment by the PowerPoint presentation help expert at HwA was absolutely as I had requested for. It was interesting, structured, and not overladen with text content.
I hugely owe to HwA for clearing my concepts as far as accounting entries are concerned. Previously I was not sure in which side of the balance sheet I need to put things like “labour overheadâ€, “capital investmentâ€, etc. But now, thanks to HwA, everything is crystal clear.
After completing my graduation in accountancy I decided to pursue a course in taxation. However, my boat started to rock as an when I was faced with the complexity of the assumptions and considerations which needs to be made whilst calculating a business tax. I was clueless and I was looking for means to make things steady. It was then that my senior in the university suggested that I should take help from HwA and I did. The result was magnificent and while reading out their reports and calculations in my own free time, I also learned a lot.
Was partying late night and forgot about my biotechnology assignment which was about to submit in 5 hours. Then approached several service providers but they refused to take up the assignment. Finally TheReliableTutor.com saved me. Submitted the assignment on time..!!!

Hello Allison,I love the 2nd image that you did! I also, had never heard of SumoPaint, is something that I will have to exolpre a bit! I understand completely the 52 (or so) youtube videos that you probably watched. Sometimes they have what you want, sometimes they don't! However, it is always satisfying when you are able to produce something that you have taught yourself. Great job!Debra 0 likes
