Doped AgBr is a solid that conducts silver ion (like a so called, “metal”). Find the electronic (as opposed to ionic) contribution of electrical conduction for a cell consisting of doped AgBr between two Ag electrodes (see figure to right). Each electrode in the cell initially weighs 10.0 g. after 200 mA is passed through the cell for 100 minutes, the cell was disassembled and the cathode was found to have a mass of 10.2 g. Ag deposited is the only Faradiac process which occurs in the cell. What percentage of the current through the cell is due to electronic conduction in doped AgBr?
