Question
Consider the binary mixtures at 300K listed in the table. The first mixture forms a single gas phase, while B and C consist of a gas and a liquid phase in phase equilibrium. For each phase, comment on the appropriateness of each of the following assumptions, (a) ideal gas, (b) ideal mixture, (c) Henry’s Law, (d) describe the difference between ideal gas and ideal mixture assumptions and (e) when would you use Henry’s Law?
Table 1: Data for binary mixtures 300K
For the table please refer to the question in the PDF.
Summary
The question belongs to Chemical Engineering and the question is about binary mixtures at 300K. Calculations for ideal gas, ideal mixture, Henry’s law, difference between ideal gas and ideal mixture and the use of Henry’s law have been given in the solution.

After moving to Australia from the UK, I realised that the style of teaching is a bit different and so while pursuing my correspondence course in operations management I needed assistance. Luckily, I bumped into HwA online, who has an excellent pool of Australian operations management experts at their disposal. I got tremendously benefited by them.
I was really struggling with the Networking engineering dissertation topic, my professor asked me to work on, in my last semester. Then I came across TheReliableTutor and they really have brilliant engineering dissertation and thesis writers. The experts have worked on my Engineering Questions since then and now I am in my 7th semester and still never got below grade A in any of my Electrical Engineering Assignments.
I was looking for help writing my case study on Stock Valuation. The case study needed specific stock valuation analysis work and I needed someone with good hold on the subject to write the case study analysis. At HwA I was paired with a finance assignment expert who had extensive industry experience. The quality of the assignment was absolutely brilliant and helped me score an A.
Had a great help with dynamic SQL programming in Oracle database from HwA and the experts are very helpful. I kept constant touch with HwA during my entire Oracle course and as a professional now, I must admit that I owe a lot to HwA for my success.
I must say that the random variable assignment experts here in HwA can surely make the numbers talk. I was given a sheet of data to analyze and honestly I had no clue whatsoever on how to approach. When I came to them they explained me the concept of discrete random variables (as the data was of an outcome of random test on some microorganism) and helped me analyze the same. My teacher at college was very impressed and since then I take help from HwA.

Hello Allison,I love the 2nd image that you did! I also, had never heard of SumoPaint, is something that I will have to exolpre a bit! I understand completely the 52 (or so) youtube videos that you probably watched. Sometimes they have what you want, sometimes they don't! However, it is always satisfying when you are able to produce something that you have taught yourself. Great job!Debra 0 likes
