In fact, marketing can be considered as a philosophy which is about utmost customer satisfaction. And marketing is also helpful in laying down the path toward achieving customer satisfaction. The American Marketing Association defines marketing as the process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, marketing communication and distribution of ideas, products and services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational goals.

Marketing’s main focus is not just on selling things. But, it is about ensuring customer satisfaction. It is about understanding customer needs, developing those products that offer higher value, pricing that product optimally and making sure that the product is available to the customer.

Some of the main concepts of marketing include

Marketers use different combinations of the 4Ps to arrive at the best product suitable for the market which is also highly profitable.
