Summary
This case study is about work place discrimination based on sex and sexual harassment. In this case, Virginia Polland, an employee at Teddy’s Supplies has been subject to harassment and discrimination at work place by her co-workers. She was fired from her job and her co-workers were spared. This ill-treatment had led Virginia Polland to file a case against her former employer Teddy’s Supplies. A hypothetical scenario of an HR manager being appointed at Teddy’s Supplies and the HR manager’s response to this case has been given in the answers.
