Discuss the drivers of globalization and explain what globalization is and how it functions. The theory of Comparative Advantage of nations was proposed by David Ricardo, Samuelson on the other hand was of the view that rich nations were disadvantaged by relaying on and using poorer nations to manufacture there goods and supply their services as suggested by Ricardo - discuss these views and provide examples of when and where they may be beneficial or counter-productive to a nation. Samuelson’s critics say that he is wrong and that it is improbable that developing nations will be able to upgrade the skill of their workforce rapidly enough to be superior to those of the developed nation/s.
